Morning Practice: 5 minutes of slow breathing

Alternate Practice: 5-5 Breathing

Tonight’s Practice: 4-7-8 breathing for deeper relaxation

  1. Inhale through nose for 4 counts

  2. Hold for 7 counts

  3. Exhale audibly through pursed lips for 8 counts

  4. Repeat 4 times

If this feels uncomfortable or too challenging, reduce to 4-4-6 instead.
